I just wanted to say a big thank you to Lyn for arranging for Clare to look after our 2 dogs and 2 cats at short notice while we went to my Mum's funeral. Clare made us feel at ease straight away and we could tell the animals were in very safe hands so we didn't have to worry at all and we could concentrate on the 3 difficult days ahead. I never find it easy going away and leaving my animals and usually I decide not to go at the last minute, but this time all was well.  I was particularly grateful to Clare for being understanding and sending me text messages a couple of times a day to say all was fine. I'm such a worrier so I found this very comforting. When we returned all the animals were happy and relaxed, it had been very hot but Clare used her initiative not to take the dogs out in the heat and exercised them early morning and evenings. The house was very clean too! We look forward to asking Clare to come again but hope it's not for such a sad occasion next time.

My beloved pets and I have been a client for 4 years.  The professionalism that gives clients confidence to leave their pets and homes in their hands is matched by the kind and reliable sitters. Gaye and Sue have both been excellent!

Lyn has been house sitting for us for some years. The longest 'sits' are during the winter while we are in Switzerland for a few months. Lyn, over the years has proved to be not just a good, totally trustworthy sitter, but also is wonderfully calm and capable if any crisis arises. Over the years, we have had a few- neighbour's horses breaking through our fences, trees coming down during gales across gates, and burst pipes in the bathroom etc. This year we had the Avian 'flu outbreak. Lyn kept us fully up to date with the local and nationwide news, and capably organised the erection of fruit cages for our previously free range chickens. This also involved far more mucking out and generally extra work. Before I forget, my German Shepherd and mini wirehaired dachshund adore her. Traitors...

The prospect of having to find pet services to undertake daily visits for up to eight weeks was quite a daunting prospect. However, I was fortunate to discover the services that West Wales Pet Watch could provide. I was promptly introduced by Lyn, the lady at the helm of the company to two of her team members who would care for my animals in my absence. I must admit that I was nervous about meeting the couple as there's a large element of trust involved in inviting strangers into your home. As soon as I was introduced to Gaye and Billy all fears were dispelled and I felt instantly at ease, I just knew that my pets would be in safe hands with this lovely couple looking after them.  I regularly received emails from Gaye and Billy to keep me informed of how the chaps were doing and being so far away I really appreciated receiving news. On my return I could see that everyone had been very well taken care of and everywhere was spotless.  Gaye and Billy are a delightful couple who I will entrust with my animals and my home again in the future. West Wales Pet Watch is a very well organised company that is excellent value for money and one that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Having recently used West Wales Pet Watch run by Lyn Martin at extremely short notice I can only highly recommend this service. Lyn was very approachable and efficient finding me the best sitter (For Boxing Day!)  Leah who looked after my animals so well they hardly noticed we had gone. I was slightly worried about having someone (who I didn't know ) staying in my house, but needn't have as Leah just made herself at home and looked after everything with a cheerful efficiency that has allayed any reservations I may have had. Even when our carefully prepared plans went awry because of the heavy traffic on our return from visiting family. I rang Leah from Bristol airport to apologize and tell her we would be later than anticipated arriving back, having just experienced the journey from hell which should have only taken 3hrs but had taken 5, my son had almost missed his flight and everyone travelling was very stressed, She was calm and helpful and assured us everything was fine and it was no problem.  What a fantastic and helpful young lady. There is no doubt that I shall be using West Wales Pet Watch and asking for Leah again.

This is the first time we have ever left our 9 1/2 stone, 2 1/2 year old Pyrenean Mastiff so naturally we were a little bit worried. Luckily we chose West Wales Pet Watch; they were brilliant from start to finish. Sue who came to stay with her was wonderful and put up with her funny quirky little ways and took her for lots of walks. When we returned everything was just as we had left it. Nothing to be concerned about at all. We will definitely use them again. We would highly recommend them and give them 5 stars.

Just a short note to thank you for sending Sonia to look after Lisa, she was a big hit with our feline mistress.  Once again it was all very successful and we were able to have some time away without having to worry about her. The service provided by you and your team is superbly professional and Sonia's input was wonderful. We would hope, all being well, to use your services (and Sonia's) again, so until then, thank you for all your help; it was very welcome. Warm regards.

Clare has looked after Seren twice now, once during the day for eight days and once with an overnight stay. Seren is six months old and a handful. When Clare was here during the day I had friends staying here who looked after her at night. I was delighted when they told me how good Clare was with my little puppy and I could also tell that Clare had continued with the puppy training. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone and have booked her up again for another three sessions before Christmas. It is nice to be able to leave Seren in very capable hands and not worry. Thank you so much.

A short note to thank you so very much for the wonderful job you did in looking after Lisa, whilst we were away this past weekend.  The care she received from you was excellent and the service was 'A1 double-plus'. You were, obviously, a huge hit with Lisa as she has now gone looking for you, in the bedroom, twice since yesterday evening - we get the feeling she may be slightly miffed that you're not around. It was very relaxing to be able to go away for the weekend knowing she was in good hands.  All being well, and Lisa still being with us, we would hope to use your services again, in the near future and we would certainly recommend your services to anyone looking for a pet/home-sitter. Everything went very well; Lina sent a photo through on her first day to confirm she'd got into the house safely and that our cat was happily playing. We always keep our cat indoors during our holidays as we had a cat previously that got lost in the run up to our going away so we are rather anxious whenever we are due a break away. So it's essential for our peace of mind that we know a caring person is guaranteed to play with Bara Brith so her days are not too boring! I would thoroughly recommend your service, and Lina, especially. It doesn't suit us just to have a neighbour calling with food and the cat roaming freely as our furry friends do have a short attention span and they do need company and security during holidays, however happy they seem when you are at home with them. Professional cat-sitting takes the worry out of going away.
