John has now been here just once, due back again this week, but it is with confidence I am asking him to come back again - and again! From our initial meeting, we were quickly assured of his diligence and reliability - his questions showed how thorough he is about both our house and our beloved elderly cat. He has responded quickly to messages and has been extremely helpful and flexible - my only hesitation in recommending him would be that he is booked up by others when I need him! A strong plus for me is sending me daily messages and photos of Madge - his communication is excellent.

Just to let you know we came back on Sunday to two very happy dogs. They had been very well looked after and the house was clean and tidy. Can you thank Ashleigh and we would have her back to dog sit in a heartbeat assuming she wants to.

I would like to thank you and Lorraine for your excellent service. Chewie was extremely happy with Lorraine and she was very caring and kind to him and obviously loves dogs. She looked after him exactly as I had asked and very kindly sent me photos and a daily update which was very reassuring as it was the first time I had left Chewie in someone else's care. I would be more than happy for Lorraine to look after Chewie should I go away again and also her husband Brian who Chewie was happy to be with when he came over to see her.

We are more than happy to highly recommend Ashleigh, who has now looked after our three family dogs on two separate occasions.Ashleigh is friendly, personable and was keen to know all about our boys so that they would be happy and relaxed while we were away. And they were! It was so lovely to arrive home to three excited, happy dogs.Our two collies have had some issues since our old dog died and Ashleigh displayed understanding, perception and calmness which meant that we felt relaxed and confident that the dogs were in good and capable hands.Ashleigh kept in touch with us to let us know how everything was going which was very much appreciated.And both times we have returned home to a very neat and tidy house! 

Ashleigh came to sit for our 2 dogs, 2 cats and 4 chickens. One of our dogs is hyperactive and barky, although friendly, whilst the other, being a rescue dog, is extremely nervous and anxious around people and dogs and tends to panic by running outside and going in circles around the house. Our 2 cats usually take a while to get used to anyone new and keep their distance. Our chickens are the easiest! When we first met Ashleigh, she was very calm and patient and interested to know more about all our pets and their habits and quirks. She was very friendly and easy to chat to and had a quiet confidence that the dogs and cats also recognised and they were relaxed around her straightaway. We were concerned mainly about the reaction of our rescue dog, but we needn't have worried. He was calm and quiet throughout, although naturally a little cautious, and he remained in his bed in the same room as us all as Ashleigh's demeanour was comfortable and reassuring. We were totally at ease leaving our pets in Ashleigh's care and our trust was well-founded. On our return, all our pets were very relaxed and looked quite happy being in Ashleigh's company. Our home was also left clean and tidy and we were very impressed with Ashleigh. We would not hesitate to have Ashleigh sit for us again or recommend her to anyone looking for a pet-sitter.

We were delighted to meet Jenny - she and Wolfie, our dog, took to each other and we had no qualms about leaving him and our house in her care. She is obviously experienced with dogs and likes them and is a mature and responsible person. It all worked really well and I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Jenny in particular - and West Wales Pet Watch in general - to anyone. 

John asked intelligent questions on his pre-stay visit. This immediately put me at ease. He was a delight to work with throughout our West Wales Pet Watch experience. Our beloved Working Cocker was well looked after.  Thank you John.

Our 2 young Labradors took to Ruth straight away. The youngest (and liveliest) chose to sleep at her feet during our first meet and greet, so we knew all would be well from then on. Thank you Lyn and Ruth for being so friendly, caring and accommodating. We will definitely use West Wales Pet Watch again. 

We are very happy to provide a testimonial for Mabli, who took care of our smallholding for 3 days & 2 nights whilst we were away. The chickens and sheep were well looked after and our 2 dogs, a greyhound and a terrier, completely fell in love with her! Mabli kept us updated with photos and we could see that they weren't missing us at all. We came to hear of West Wales Pet Watch through friends recommendations, and we are more than happy to recommend them ourselves.

We have four animals, two very young energetic dogs, plus a senior dog and cat. My wife and I needed to go away for a family wedding for a period of five days. We booked well in advance and Lyn visited to meet ourselves and the pets. It was clear from the off Lyn was completely comfortable with all our animals even our cat who is wary of strangers. She also made us feel really happy and reassured that our pets would be in good hands.The preparatory paperwork and conversations regarding the daily routine of the animals and household were meticulous. Communication with Lyn prior to us going away and whilst she was looking after the house was excellent with regular updates. When we came home it was obvious all the animals had been well cared for and were happy and relaxed. Lyn had established good relationships with each individual and fully met their requirements, needs and medications. The house  was spotless and Lyn had tended to the numerous outdoor potted plants.The service provided was first rate and a brilliant alternative to kennels. We had every confidence that our animals had excellent care and affection plus the house was occupied and looked after. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this service and will use it again in the future.
